It seems everyone these days is having a little fun at the Lions' expense.
The online gambling site BetOnline.com has developed a few interesting betting options for would-be gamblers involving the winless Lions.
BetOnline.com is wondering what will come first -- Will the Lions win their first game of the 2008 season or will the undefeated Titans lose their first game of the year?
The BetOnline.com odds that the Lions win a game before the Titans lose a game are currently at 2-to-1. Keep in mind the Lions host the Titans on Thanksgiving.
BetOnline.com is also offering odds on the chances the Lions become the first team in the NFL to go winless at a putrid 0-16.
It looks like this week's game against a struggling Jaguars team has things looking up for the Lions as the odds they go winless are a distant 8-to-1.
Detroit's remaining schedule features games at home against Jacksonville, Tampa Bay, Tennessee, Minnesota and New Orleans and games on the road at Carolina, Indianapolis and Green Bay. |
