Fast growth of portal owners' integrity and professionalism initiative
The Gambling Portal Webmasters Association (GPWA), a body that campaigns for responsible gaming, and supports relationships between affiliate programme managers and portal webmasters, has announced that it has reached a landmark with the issuing of its 200th 'Approved Portal Seal' award to one of its member sites.
The GPWA Approved Portal Seal informs players that the site in question, amongst other things, is: "operated freely of the sites it endorses or reviews; that it respects copyright standards and that it will give customers a wealth of gambling information instead of being limited to hosting banner ads and links."
Steven Corfman, GPWA Programme Manager, said: Players are looking for [online gambling information portal] sites they can trust, and honourable webmasters deserve to differentiate themselves from rogue operators. The Seal of Approval programme provides the distinction these webmasters deserve, and gives consumers the information and assurance to make critical decisions about who is reputable and who to skip past. We are excited about this important milestone and look forward to continued growth." |
