The inaugural Main Event of the Mega Poker Series powered by Poker770 took place from January 19th to January 22nd at the Montesino Casino in Vienna, Austria. Nottingham introduction:
The second event of the Mega Poker Series 2012 will take place from March 7th - 11th 2012 at the Dusk Till Dawn Poker Club at Nottingham and kicks off with a Satellite to the Main Event on March 6th, followed by Day 1A on March 7th. The second Satellite for the Main Event also takes place on March 7th and all players that win their entry can use it for Day 1B on March 8th.

A total of 390 runners generated a prize pool of 273,000 euro and the top 60 spots were paid, with additional incentives for all online qualifiers and VIP players. There were bounties available on all Team 770 Pros, yet none of the eligible participants scored a knock-out to ensure a token for the next Online Final of the Mega Poker Series.
Once the bubble burst in the second level of Day 3, everyone was guaranteed at least 1,110 euro and a total of five 770 Pros made it into the money. Yet, none of them reached the final table and the 12th place of Jonathan Kubben was the best result for the Team 770. The fast paced international final table included many spectacular showdowns until the action slowed down with 4 players left.
At that point Hungarian Csaba Bago took over the Chiplead and once Josep Maria Galindo Lopez was eliminated in 4th place, the remaining three players agreed to a Chip Count deal. The official result of the Final Table is as follows:
The 165euro Bounty Freezeout on Friday January 20th saw a total of 181 players and there was a bounty of 50euro for each knockout. The top 18 got paid and Markus Stinner ensured a home victory for 4,800 euro.
In the third Side Event, a 330 euro NLHE Freezeout, 129 players battled for a total prize pool of 38,700 euro and Oren Benjamin Ram scored the win and took home 10,270 euro.
Last but not least, the 57euro Side Event #4 saw a 183 strong player field and the top 19 reached the money. Frenchman Andre dos Santos outlasted three Austrians to avoid another home victory and won the tournament after a 3way deal.

The No-Limit Texas Hold’em Freezeout tournament will be a 4 day event consisting of two starting days and Day 1-4, with the Final Table being played on March 11th 2012. The Buy-In for the Main Event is 700 + 70 Euro / 590 + 60 £. The top 40 will score points for the overall leaderboard and an additional four Side Events are available, the full schedule is as follows:
