Ladbrokes, one of the world's leading betting and gaming companies, has signed an agreement to extend its 15 year relationship with OpenBet, the leading sportsbook and online gaming software provider, until 2016.
The new agreement will see OpenBet continue to provide the technology behind Ladbrokes’ online sportsbook and games products.
As part of the agreement Ladbrokes will receive the full benefit of OpenBet’s roadmap of technology developments and will also have access to world-class games content available on OpenBet’s gaming platform.
Commenting on the announcement, Richard Glynn, Chief Executive Officer of Ladbrokes, said: “We are pleased to extend our long-standing relationship with OpenBet with this agreement, which offers revenue opportunities to both parties and enhances all of Ladbrokes' existing (and future) product and technology partnerships. Ladbrokes has been working with OpenBet since 1998 and this agreement will mean OpenBet will support us in continually enhancing both our sportsbook and games products.”
OpenBet's Chief Executive Officer, Jeremy Thompson-Hill, commented: “The most satisfying element of this new deal is that Ladbrokes has been one of the cornerstone clients for OpenBet right from the start of our company’s history. This new extension agreement is good for OpenBet, good for Ladbrokes and ultimately good for their customers. Over the next three years, we are sure that Ladbrokes’ sportsbook and games products will go from strength to strength, rightfully cementing its place in the online gaming space.” |
