Roxy Palace receives license in Denmark

We are extremely happy to announce that we have been awarded a Danish licence which will allow us to operate under the new licensing regime in Denmark as of the 1st January 2012.

The local Danish legislation will apply to any players registering and/or playing on the Danish Roxy Palace casino www.roxypalace.dk as of 1st January 2012, and this will result in important changes for all existing and future affiliated players registered in Denmark at Roxy Palace casino.

Existing players registered in Denmark will be migrated from the existing Roxy Palace platform to a new compliant casino platform, however the domain itself will remain the same. You will not be required to change any links or media as everything will continue to be tracked and recorded as per before.

As a result of the new regulations, gaming taxes will apply to all Danish players from the 1st January 2012. The gaming taxes will be manually deducted from the Gross Revenue generated by Danish players in the month of January 2012, while we are migrating to our new affiliate system.

The upgrade to the affiliate system will not only take into account regulated markets, but also improve the functionality and usability of the site, which we will advertise to you, in due course.

We have purposely scheduled the upgrade of the affiliate system in January due to the extensive testing required to ensure a smooth transition for all of our affiliates on to the new system.

New commission plans will be implemented for licenced markets, and apply only to players from those specific markets, thus the commission table outlined in clause 5.3*in our current T&C’s and our standard offering on our website will no longer apply to the new licensed markets.

The new terms* below will replace the existing terms and apply to licenced markets and will take effect as of 01.01.12. These terms are binding and this email communication serves as immediate notification of these changes.

Commission in licensed markets will be based on Net Revenue.

Net Revenue is defined as referred players income minus payouts and progressive contributions, and after the deduction of free money and other incentives given to players, transaction costs, software license fees, gambling taxes and chargebacks.
