US-friendly poker room hosts TOSS warm-up event at 9:00pm ET on Thursday, November 24.
San Jose, Costa Rica - November 22, 2011 - The online poker site TruePoker is hosting a special $25,000 guaranteed Thanksgiving Day poker tournament. The tournament is being billed as a warm-up event for TruePoker's upcoming online poker super series, TOSS.
The $25k TOSS warm-up gets underway on Thursday, November 24th at 9:00pm ET. Players can claim a spot in the tournament for $50+5, or they can opt to get into it through a low buy-in qualifier. Satellites are now running from as low as $2.
Any player who participates in the $25k Guaranteed warm-up event will also earn an extra 500 points towards this month's $65k Rake Race at TruePoker. All players also qualify for a FreeRoll on November 25th at 3pm ET awarding 10-seats to TOSS Main Event ($82.50 value).
The TruePoker Online Super Series (TOSS), which runs from November 29th through December 4th, features over $150,000 in guaranteed prize money. The series wraps up with a $50,000 Guaranteed No Limit Hold'em tournament.
Designed to appeal to players of all stake levels, TOSS will feature three major events per day, with prize pools ranging from $250 all the way to $50,000, and buy-ins ranging from $3.30 to $109. Some tournaments will offer Frequent Player Point buy-ins.
Also part of the series are contests that award free tournament seats to the top 10 players to cash in the series; a $1k freeroll seat for every player who cashes more than once in the series; and the tournament buy-in will be refunded as an award for each player who finishes a tournament on the bubble.
