Within the next week, a formal email will be going out to all RoyalStakes affiliates mentioning the important changes below once we have more details and understand the landscape better. I wanted to personally reach out to you immediately to give you as much heads up as possible. Please read the below and understand the urgency and importance of the current situation. My primary goal always has and will be to give the best possible solution(s) to you and your players every step of the way. As you can imagine, I have a million things to tend to, but making sure you're taken care of as much as possible is at the top of my list.
By the way, on the plus side, you have a big opportunity here and I can get you rolling before the rest of the world.

NOTICE: The following is based on speculation based on things we have heard from what we consider to be very valid sources. We cannot confirm any of it as factual at this time, we are simply trying to give our valued affiliates a "heads up" based on our thoughts.
IMPORTANT CHANGES FOR ROYALSTAKES AFFILIATES.
As you know, our long-term partners have fully managed the William Hill Online operation entirely since Day 1 on the iPoker / Playtech playing field. You also know we have handled all the VIP affiliates (you) in this arrangement through our RoyalStakes.com website. For reasons unknown to us at this time, William Hill Online has chosen to dramatically modify their business model and drastically reduce the amount of control our partners (and WE) have to run the business.
We literally found out this news less than 48 hours ago. There are many unknowns at this time. We don't know what the consequences will be or when they will happen for us, affiliates, or players. What we do know, though, is that we (us and our partners) have played an EXTREMELY active role in running the William Hill Poker operation (for affiliates and players). As a result, we do NOT trust that the new operation (without us involved) will be smooth and/or anything close to how it has been for affiliates and/or players. Because of so many unknowns, we feel it is in OUR best interest AND YOURS to consider the options below.
Before I continue with the bright side of the future, a couple things are important to know:
*** As long as we have access to the stats for William Hill Online & BetMost Poker, so will you.
*** As long as we have access to payments, you will get paid (and so will your players).
That said, every minute that passes starting NOW adds more and more risk because we truly do not know or understand the full landscape of the situation today. I don't want to speculate too much at this stage, but it's highly possible that in the very near future, we will not have access to facilitate ANY activity on William Hill Poker or BetMost, so you can see the urgency of the situation.
My job and passion is to look after you and your players, which you already know. With that in mind, we have some very good opportunities on our new iPoker room (see below). Better than we've ever had before, and we're passing these benefits on to you in an effort to help us both as much as possible for the long term.
Lastly, please keep in mind that all of this is coming directly from our partners (who are in the joint venture with William Hill Online) and NOT from William Hill themselves. However, it's with good reason that we are sending this email, and it's in your best interest to act on it as quickly as possible to take advantage of the opportunity. Our loyalty is with our affiliates (YOU), and you have my guarantee on that.
Given our close relationship with you and our partners, we will work with you as much as possible to:
- Get the most out of the existing William Hill Online relationship and
- Take advantage of our new opportunity that replaces William Hill Online (see below)
The following changes will happen starting immediately for the entire RoyalStakes operation:
Loyalty Payments to Players will be done on WINNER POKER
It's only a matter of time before we no longer have access to making loyalty payments on William Hill or BetMost Poker (at least for the short term). As a result, we are being proactive about the situation and as long as we can see stats, we will pay out your players to their WINNER Poker account (see below).
Affiliate Earnings will be paid on WINNER POKER
Same as above. We don't know how long we can trust that the payments are executed in a timely manner, or even at all, on BetMost and William Hill. So, we're playing it safe and paying you on Winner where we have control.
For the record, we have told our partners that William Hill Online is making a huge mistake and that making this change is a terrible idea for players and affiliates. Again, nobody understands the full scope of the situation yet, but we are trying to be as proactive as possible to make sure you and your players get paid fully and on time now and in the future.
Despite all the negative news from above, we also have good news for you :)
The Good News about the Changes:
This presents us (and you) with a huge NEW opportunity with a new client we have partnered up with Winner Poker
Power & Control
We are in full control and are at "the top" with Winner Poker (unlike William Hill Online, which has been an unhealthy joint venture). Now we are able to operate with a tighter connection with Playtech / iPoker
Your Affiliate Commission Deal Transfers
We will automatically transfer your existing deal from WHP / BMP to Winner Poker so you will earn the same commissions from Day 1 (today) on your Winner Poker earnings PLUS the bonuses (see below)
Your Players' Loyalty Deals Transfer
We will automatically transfer your deals from your players to the Winner Poker system, unless you tell us to do otherwise.
+5% Loyalty Bonus for PLAYERS
To help your players with this transition, RoyalStakes will pay your players a 5% bonus on ALL RAKE they generate between now and the end of the year. We will tell Winner Poker how much to pay the player at the end of 2011 and it will go directly to their Winner account. It will NOT be deducted from your affiliate earnings.
+5% Commission Bonus for AFFILIATES
To help you with this transition, RoyalStakes will pay a 5% bonus to top affiliates (you) for ALL RAKE generated between now and the end of the year. Again, this is 5% more on the GROSS rakes generated between now and the end of the year, straight into your pocket, as long as you are generating as much as you did last month (September). If you are under that amount, we'll still pay you 2% of gross rakes as a bonus.
No ID Checks From Day 1
Starting immediately, we have worked out that all players under RoyalStakes will NOT need to deal with the ID & Fraud checks to start with. They will instantly be treated like the VIP players they are with the highest deposit / withdrawal limits.
Important Facts about Winner Poker:
Directly connected to PlayTech and iPoker (unlike William Hill Online)
Less "technical issues" related to Client Upgrades, Custom Solutions & Stats
Quicker Withdrawals - a faster security & fraud checking process
More Freedom: we don't have to abide by the politics of a brick & mortar based company like William Hill
And most importantly, Winner Poker Listens to Us.
We know poker because we come from a poker background. We know what affiliates want. We know what players want. We will be RUNNING their poker room and affiliate operation and they will let us run the operation how we know is best. As you know, with William Hill, it was like a constant uphill battle to make some simple things happen because of their politics, etc. With Winner, things will run much more smoothly and with more freedom. And, since WE are running the show, there will not be any changes to the business model like we are seeing William Hill.
Why Promote Winner Poker with RoyalStakes?
Security: Winner Poker is an extention of the Playtech / iPoker family, so all funds are 100% safe & secure, and they are here for the long haul.
Higher Commission: you get the same % deal you have on William Hill Online (we will transport it over)

So What Next?
In the very near future (within the next 24 hours we hope), you will receive a separate email from us including your Winner Poker affiliate link, download link and Bonus Code.
Once you have it, you can and should start moving existing & new players IMMEDIATELY
We will facilitate all player loyalty payments (weekly and monthly) on Winner Poker

All in all, we believe this to be a very positive transition for everyone involved from the network all the way down to the players (and of course you and us, too). It will take some hard work from us and you to move the action to Winner Poker. But, once they are there, they will get a better deal, a superior user experience (software & support), quicker withdrawals, and more security with less politics / regulations. You will get higher commissions with higher bonuses. And we will be happier with a poker operation we have far more control over to run how we know is best.
My loyalty remains with you and your players, and I'm here to help you every step of the way. If you choose to stick with the William Hill Online operation and see how things fall into place (or don't), I wish you nothing but the best and will continue to keep helping you as much as possible there too while we can . I just don't know how long we will be able to help, and I don't at all trust that they will be able to manage the operation on their own. I think it will be a huge disaster if it comes to that. So, let's move together and seize the opportunity.
